About

Why I’m building

I’m JP. I learned Japanese in university classes, with flashcards and in several apps. Whenever I switched tools, I had to tell the next one what I already knew.

Why anuno

My vocabulary was spread across several apps.

A word I knew in one deck appeared as new in the next. I could explain a grammar rule, then hesitate over the form I needed in conversation. When reading, I sometimes needed just one pronunciation, while readings were shown above every word.

That is why connects vocabulary, forms and reading. A word from a vocabulary exercise can return in a form exercise and later in a text. What you already know should count.

Who it is for

For classes and learning on your own.

I also think about students learning a language alongside seminars and exams. should work for course practice as well as independent study.

You can review words, practise forms or read a text, depending on what you want to work on today.

In progress

A mascot is on its way.

I want to draw the mascot myself. Until then, this space stays open.
